Our cherished one, beloved spark of joy and transformation, Simcha Esther bas Chaya Pesha, mother, daughter, sister, wife, granddaughter of Aharon the High Priest, has returned her pure soul to her Maker, clean and brightened by the power of Yom Kippur as this Day of Judgement turned toward evening.
May her remembrance be a blessing and a continued inspiration in our lives and the lives of her children, may her soul rise to the upper Eden and may she be bound in the bonds of eternal life.

Erev Yom Kippur, 5770
Dear Friends,
B"H Simcha Esther is still with us - displaying her usual tremendous tenacity. IY"H she will experience the highest light that Yom Kippur contains. To the outer eye, she has been mostly semi-conscious the last few days at the hospice and has been beyond eating or drinking for many days. However, astonishingly, today she briefly "woke up" and was laughing and joking for a few minutes with visitors. (I arrived a few minutes later, but missed it all.)
I know she hears and is aware of everything being said around her, and - on a higher plane - is certainly aware of all that you are doing for her, the tehillim, tefilos, kabbalos, and mitzvos. Thank you.
May you all be blessed with slicha, mechila and kappara (forgiveness, full-circle restoration and renewed cleansing) and come through Yom Kippur with great dveykus (attachment to God) and the clarity the Day contains: Ain Od Milvado, Hashem Hu haElokim! (There is nothing but God alone).
Thank yous are too numerous to complete but deep thanks to Rachel R. for her immense and steadfast support and always being a bridge over troubled waters (the Passaic river perhaps...), to Atara W. for her insight and devotion, to the dynamic duo for meals delivered from Teaneck, to Malka L. for going above and beyond, to my cousin Hersh B. for chizuk, the girls in Deal for their Amen and brachos party (I think about 4500 "amens" girls! count 'em...). to Michal F. for perseverance, to Debbie R. for great patience, to Libby L. and family for treking over and playdates and to Shelley G. who surprised us with a reunion for Batsheva and her long lost best friend Zoe!
Good Yom Tov,
with Brachos,
Yoni.
PS - Please remember to reserve your tickets for the Premier and let your friends know about it any way you can.
